I'm sure most of you read the post that e7erlasting posted...and finally I may have a chance to see the cast!! I missed many concerts that I wanted to see so I hope I can at least make this...

But I have no idea where they are meeting (besides Tokyo on July 13th) ...and any other information!!

Just in case you didn't know, the drama seasons 1 and 2 (and probably the movie, eventually) are getting released on Blu-Ray disk in boxsets this summer. (Season one came out on the 2nd, while season two is coming next month.) They promise tons of extras (behind the scenes, interviews, trailers/spots, clean OP) etc. etc, and of course you get to watch HYD in super high-def whatever. XP

Additionally, Blu-Ray has placed the Americas in the same region category as Japan (as opposed to standard DVD) so these will be able to be played on any standard Blu-Ray American player. SCORE. (Sorry, Europeans and Australians & etc. >_<)

The only MAJOR downside to this is the price -- 25,200 yen for season 1, and 30,240 yen for season two. That's about $245 and $294 USD for them, respectively.

Just telling y'all, in case there's some rich person who wants to buy them and rip them for all of us to torrent! XP

Notes: The idea came from the book/film Lust, Caution, in which a spy seduces an intelligence agent in a plot to gain information and then kill the man. But this story takes a completely different direction, so no, Yagyuu isn't anything like Tony Leung. XD;;;; Many thanks to my lovely beta (and lab rat) L-chan.

Well, since everyone's commenting on the movie, I'll say that it certainly wasn't the strongest/best movie I've ever watched, and I do think I like the dramas better, but it was an absolutely wonderful experience going to see it and not disappointment ^^ And I think it got me back into HYD - I spent all night reading the manga for the first time... until 4am. XP

I know that this doesn't have any of the guys from Tenimyu, but I remembered reading on DramaWiki that China was making a Prince of Tennis drama, and when I went to check on when it would start, it said July 15th. All the information on it is right here.

I'm really curious to watch this and hope someone puts it up. I think it'll be interesting to see how the Chinese did in adapting the manga and how true they stick to it.
